Students often desire to resit a GCSE, AS, A2 Level or International Baccalaureate examination in order to improve their grades. Many private sixth form colleges offer resit tutorials. Alternatively we can arrange for a private tutor to carry out the tuition at your home. Resit tuition can be one-on-one or in small groups.

The cost usually depends upon the grade obtained because that will determine how much tuition needed and also the duration. The typical resit course is for one term starting in September, allowing you to retake the exam in January. Some students prefer to effectively retake all the tuition over a whole year.

It is sometimes possible to combine retake tuition with a new first time subject or carrying on with the original subjects to the next level.

Most colleges will also offer one or two week revision courses in the Easter or Summer holidays.

Some students just want to resit the examination without tuition and are seeking an examination centre. These are few and far between, but give us a call.
